Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs are people who have come alive.”
Howard Thurman
About
In the Spring of 2008, Audrey Vitolins, MSW followed her guidance to leave her job as the Coordinator, Oncology Mind/Body Services at a community cancer center in NJ to serve as a motivational speaker and intuitive guide for transformation. Little did she know the extent of economic upheaval that would occur soon thereafter and the increased need for guidance, hope and inspiration. Since 1997, she has served as a clinical therapist, researcher, assistant professor and program coordinator with children, families and adults providing support in the areas of oncology, life changes, trauma, addiction, abuse and mental illness. Using her intuition she now serves as an agent for meaningful change inspiring individuals and business leaders to uncover their gold, think outside the box, and live through and from their hearts.
What's Different Audrey will tell you what you need to hear rather than what you want to hear. She challenges limiting patterns that prevent forward movement and offers alternatives until a client is able to spring forward. She has the rare combination of visionary and action orientation. Audrey believes that, for some, transformation can happen overnight. For others it takes more time to let go of old ways of thinking, believing and acting. Audrey serves as an unwavering messenger for possibility until you are ready to take your leap of faith and beyond. Read below for Audrey's view on fear and what she calls the "yes, but . . . " syndrome.
How
By using intuition Audrey downloads information which is beyond the limitations of the ego and mind. "I find that the intuitive information that comes forth for my clients is the information they need. It always comes down to whether they are ready to act on the information that comes forth. If a client isn't ready, or a business isn't yet ready for change, I continue to work with the client to restructure the foundation so the desired shift can occur."
Style
Audrey's style is encouraging, enthusiastic, and energetic in a no-nonsense sort of way. "I am results driven and balance encouragement with accountability. I have no interest in creating dependency. I want to see my clients get on their way as quickly as possible so they can experience the joy of being in their purpose and authenticity."
Real Audrey says, "I was not born with the silver spoon of fearlessness. I lost time in my own life because I chose limiting perceptions over possibility, fear over love, and ignored my own knowing. For many years I felt different, out of place and frustrated until I finally accepted my gifts and talents and followed my heart's guidance. I understand the fear, confusion, triumph and celebration associated with change. I have followed guidance that defied the face of logic . . . and it's been so worth it!"
"I believe that worry is one of the most overrated, inefficient yet grossly reinforced behaviors in our culture. It accomplishes nothing except to keep us from possibility and being in our Divinity." ~ Audrey
Fear and the “Yes, but . . . ” Syndrome
Unfortunately media and society reinforce the fear and uncertainty associated with change and paint us to be victims without the opportunity to choose. If you respond with fear it’s because you haven’t embraced your own power of directing energy so that you can be in the driver’s seat. We constantly respond to signs and messages reminding us of support and possibilities with “yes, but . . . “. This chronic “but” mentality is a prime indicator of living in doubt and fear. Using “but” repeatedly places us in a holding pattern for not experiencing the life we want. My services assist clients in moving beyond fear and this paralyzing response.
